Cemeteries
Facilities
 Pioneer Cemetery is located on Reimer Avenue, Memorial Cemetery is located on McKenzie Avenue at Brandt Street, and Heritage Cemetery is located on Loewen Boulevard at Hespeler Street N. The City carries out all general maintenance and internment procedures.
The administration office for our cemeteries is located at the City of Steinbach Operations Building, 51 Millwork Drive. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Policies
Please respect the following policies when visiting any of the City’s cemeteries.
1. A cemetery is a sacred place. Quiet and reverence must be observed at all times. The City of Steinbach reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.
2. Pets are not allowed in the cemetery unless controlled by a leash or other means. Owners must clean up after their pets.
3. Artificial flowers and wreaths will be removed from plots once they have deteriorated from sunlight.
4. Fences of any kind (wood, iron, plastic, brick, etc.) are not allowed on any plots.
5. Trees may be allowed, subject to approval from the Parks and Recreation Office. Large trees overhanging other plots will be pruned.
6. The City of Steinbach reserves the right to access any lot or plot to carry out required duties.
7. Automobile speed is limited to 20 km/hr within cemetery grounds.
